Stone Rabbit Garden Ornament
Lovely stone baby rabbit garden ornament. First of all, this stone rabbit garden ornament is hand cast from white cement in my garden studio. This stone garden ornament would look great in any garden setting nestled in the flower beds or sitting by a garden pond. This stone rabbit will probably make you smile every time you see him as he peeks out through the flowers. You can certainly see him enjoying being nestled in the glorious natural surroundings. As a result, he looks so content!
He is handpainted in lovely high quality outdoor acrylic paint. Outdoor paint is thinner and penetrates the stone so elimates cracking and chipping. Outdoor acrylic paint is more colourfast and is less resistant to fading. Most noteworthy some fading will occur over time with weathering.
Furthermore, these stone garden ornaments are made with lime added to the dry mixture. As a result when the cement is fully dry this makes them frostproof because lime makes the stone less porous. However, it is advisable as with any garden ornament to take in during very cold weather.
